A perfect storm - caused by the war in Ukraine, climate change and the failure of the world to respond quickly is causing a wave of Severe Acute Malnutrition AKA S.A.M to spread across East Africa. Every 48 seconds, someone in Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia are dying from hunger. Is there a cure to hunger? Yeah and it costs peanuts. £30 can pay for a childs 6 week course of high-nutrient peanut paste which will stop S.A.M in its tracks and give children their future back. We've been working across East Africa for many years. We run longer-term programmes as well as short-term disaster response, and work together with local partners, governments and communities.
