Everybody knows of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance service.  But did you know it costs £12,000 per day to keep both Air Ambulances operating?

The fast medical response that the Air Ambulance service provides is vital to a patient who has received major trauma, especially those with head and spinal injuries, as the Air Ambulance can avoid traffic congestion and uneven road surfaces.

On average, when a patient has been received by the YAA, they will always be only 10 minutes from the nearest hospital and 15 minutes from the most relevant treatment centre. In some cases, this can save people's lives.

Please donate a minimum of £2 to this raffle to be entered into the draw for the chance to win this beautiful Scrappy Happy Stars Quilt. 

The draw will close on 12th March 2016 at midnight GMT time and the winner will be announced by 15th March 2016. For every £2 donation, you will have one entry in the draw, so a £10 donation will have five entries in the draw etc.

The Quilt itself is called a Scrappy Happy Stars Quilt.  It measures approximately 90" x 90" and therefore will sit very comfortably on a super king size bed, kingsize or double. The photographs are taken on a superking bed.  The cost of the materials and time for the manufacture of the Scrappy Happy Quilt work out at over £800. The wadding is 80/20 and the backing is 100% cotton.

So for a £2 donation you could walk away with a beautiful quilt worth over £800 - you do the maths and of course donating that £2 to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance at the same time!
