Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

I lost my Dad to Motor Neurone Disease back in 2012, and since it's Father's Day in June I want to raise money for charity in his memory. The charity I have chosen is the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) who fund research into Motor Neurone Disease, as well as providing support and care to people with the disease and their families.

I'm aiming to run a total of 120km in June, which averages about 30km a week. This might not sound a lot, but I only started running in February of this year, completed couch to 5k at the end of April (the day before my 35th birthday) and have just managed my first 10k today. I usually run for about 7 or 8km 3 times a week so I'll be stepping it up a bit for this challenge!

If you can spare a few quid then it'd be really appreciated.

Thanks 👍
