Qdos to Paris!
Warming animal animation adverts and the Coca Cola lorry’s reappearance can only denote one thing. The Christmas countdown.
But as your savings begin to mount and numerous catalogue page corners are folded, there is a much better cause that could entice some of your festive reserves.
Rainbows charity is the East Midlands’ only children’s and young person’s hospice. As I’m certain you’ll agree, any terminally ill child deserves the absolute best quality of life possible. And what better time of year to support them than Christmas?
So, this is what we – Qdos Contractor – propose.
As of the week commencing 16 December, our team will be swapping their winter attire for cycling gear as we mount a bike destined for the capital of France.
Well, in a sense. We’ll be biking the equivalent distance from our Leicester-based office to Paris over the course of one week on an exercise bike.
We have split the journey into 22 legs, which will be completed either individually or shared between 2 or 3 of us.
We are suggesting a generous donation of £50 to sponsor a leg of our journey, but any donation will be greatly appreciated by both ourselves and Rainbows.
Sadly, the need for Rainbows will never disappear, but help such as yours is invaluable if they are to continue to meet the very special needs of supporting children and families through a difficult time.
In addition to adhering with your good deed of the day by donating, if you are donating as a business, your logo will appear on our Charity page just beneath the map of our course to show your kind sponsorship (contact info@qdoscontractor.com for more details).
Over the course of the week we will be regularly posting social media updates concerning the event, and we are also being covered by local newspapers who will be photographing our red faces as we bike our way to Paris.
