We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

We are going to attempt to set a new World Record for the greatest distance rowed by one man in 24 hours on a Concept2 rowing machine. Paul Buchanan will start rowing at 9am on 23rd August 2012, supported by members of the Q-Power Indoor Rowing Team.

Many members of the team have someone close to them who has fought cancer - sometimes succesfully (reflecting the great work done by those finding ways to beat it)... and sometimes not (reflecting just how much more work there is still to do).

We know that we are living in difficult financial times, but every single pound donated makes a difference. Please try to give generously - it will make a difference to someone else... it might save their life.

Full details of our world record effort can be found here. You can also watch our Live Webcast (starting shortly before 9am on 23rd August 2012) here.
