Story

On 14 September last year, we lost our incredible dad, Paul Wood, to colon cancer. His cruel three year battle will always leave us in awe of his strength and so proud of his courage - he truly believed he'd beat the illness, and he never gave up hope. As those of you who knew him will know,  beneath the James Bond exterior was the softest heart, which radiated so much love. He really was one-of-a-kind, not a day goes by where we don't think of him, and we miss him.

Dad served in The Parachute Regiment for 8 years, and used to be an avid endurance runner back in the day, having completed the Marathon des Sables and the Great Wall of China, which brings me onto the reason for this fundraiser.

My brother and I will be participating in the Paras'10 for Woody on 8th October 2022, hosted by Limitless Trails in conjunction with The Parachute Regiment. We will be running a challenging 10 mile route through the Brecon Beacons alongside his family, friends and regiment.

We've chosen to raise money for the The Colorectal Cancer Alliance, who raise awareness, provide support, and inspire efforts to fund critical research into colorectal cancer.

Any donations would be extremely appreciated, and warmly received. Thank you in advance for your love and support.

Love,

Georgi & Dan
