After years of tireless charity work Peter West had help thousands of people he never met, his selflessness and generosity helped raised money that made a difference to the people who needed most. We are honoured to be able to use his name and are determined to carry on his legacy.

Just under 9 years ago four friends decided to raise a few quid for charity by having a laugh and driving around a few football grounds, little did they know this would turn into an epic challenge involving over 3200miles and 94 football grounds in 7 days, it was worth it as the small fortune they raised went directly to MacMillan Cancer Support. After this achievement Pete West aptly named them The Awesome Foursome and to honour his memory and the charity work he undertook the first ever Peter West Memorial Trophy took place last year. Due to its phenomenal success everyone involved in the previous game has decided to pull their boots on and open their wallets for a second time, this year the game will again be held at Eastwood Community FC and it will take place on 27th May 2017. If you can attend the game as well as donate we would be very, very grateful as us older players will need all the support we can get to make it through the match.

After the game there will be a raffle and auction taking place in the clubhouse with all proceeds going to Macmillan.
