Story
With more Londoners facing hunger than ever before - including 400,00 children - we have clubbed together with The Secret Boxing Gym, to launch PUNCHES FOR LUNCHES, supporting The Felix Project, to try and feed as many vulnerable kids as we can this Christmas.
Punching off at 6am on Friday 18 December, Punches For Lunches is a brand new 24 hour fundraising boxing marathon taking place at The Secret Boxing Gym, London Bridge. Hosted by myself and former World and Commonwealth title holder Richard ‘The Secret’ Williams, we will see club members punching the bags for 24 hours alongside athletes including former England rugby captain Chris Robshaw and a host of celebrity supporters such as Kirsty Gallacher – all in a bid to raise £50,000 for The Felix Project, who provide an incredible 61 meals for every £10 raised.
PLEASE DONATE WHAT YOU CAN. £30 is the price of a bottle of plonk in the pub...or donated here that will provide 183 Christmas meals for vulnerable children this Christmas.
Our mission, and that of the Felix Project, is simple - to take surplus food from their suppliers and deliver it to any charity that helps feed vulnerable Londoners. It's all nutritious and would otherwise go to waste. Not only that, but it helps fight food poverty and reduces costs for hardworking organisations. Please give what you can. A little will go a long way.
With love and thanks,
Ben
