Story
We are the backroom staff at Leeds United FC, based at Thorp Arch Training Ground in Wetherby. We want to help raise awareness and raise as much money as possible for Prostate Cancer UK.
We are aiming to run or cycle every day in November, come rain, wind or shine. So please help keep us motivated by donating as much or as little as you want!

In November 2018, Stephen Gilpin started a challenge. A challenge that consisted of him and Ross Burbeary running 10km every day in less than 45 minutes throughout November.
To continue the fundraising in November 2019, the Rotherham United Sport Science and Medical team along with support from West Ham LFC and Coventry City FC performed the same challenge.
In November 2020, the challenge continued for a third year, with staff from a variety of professional sport clubs joining Prostate United to raise awareness of prostate cancer and fundraise for Prostate Cancer UK. The challenge saw people either run 10km a day or cycle 25km a day throughout the month.
This November, Stephen, Ross and the rest of the Prostate United team are calling on staff from all professional sports clubs up and down the country to join them by taking on one of the following challenges:
- Run 10km or Bike 25km a day
- Run 5km or Bike 15km a day
- Run 3km or Bike 10km a day
