We fundraise for Cardiff and Vale hospitals to enhance the care provided by the NHS

Story

The neuro-rehabilitation unit at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board provides rehabilitation for people who have suffered brain injuries. The severity of this type of injury means that patients are often in hospital for many months. The Prop Appeal has been set up to help improve the experience of patients and their families during that time.

We are planning to re-vamp the day-room into a more homely environment, upgrade the kitchen where patients are able to relearn cooking and other domestic skills, and to replace a chalet which reproduces surroundings at home to help patients readjust before being discharged.

Any money donated through this page will be transferred directly to the Prop fund in Cardiff and Vale UHB's bank account and Gift Aid will be reclaimed if you are a UK taxpayer. Thank you for your support.
