Story
This year, around 86,000 young people in the UK will be homeless.
Homelessness is more than just sleeping on the streets and while this can be the most dangerous and most visible form of homelessness, it is just the tip of the iceberg. Homelessness means not having a place to call home a place that is private, secure, decent and affordable and where you have a right to stay.
That is exactly why, on Thursday 6 February, a courageous team of us will brave ONE night outside to help prevent young people from facing the same prospect, EVERY night. Our aim is to raise funds to help put an end to youth homelessness - as well as awareness of such an urgent issue. This is a truly impactful opportunity to raise money to help vulnerable young people across the UK and make changes to young people’s lives which will last a lifetime.
We realise these 'sleepouts' won’t replicate how it truly feels to be sleeping rough, but will give us an idea of the harsh realities faced by many young people. So please donate what you can to help us help this fantastic cause.
