Fundraising for GlobalGiving
When I was 21, I lived in Natori, a small town just south of Sendai in Japan. I taught at the high school there. Everywhere I went, people were kind to me - going out of their way to help out the gaijin (foreigner) who always looked so confused.
It was Natori that you saw on TV on March 11th - that big black wave knocking out houses, lorries, schools ...
This run is being done at the same time, by lots of us, all over the world - some in groups, some by themselves. It's not far - but hopefully it will help. Money raised will go through the globalgiving relief fund to the Red Cross and Living Dreams. Thank you very much!
