Story
Jake was an amazing, smiley, positive, inspirational character with a happy and bubbly personality. Jake was also a great childhood friend to one of our Profile colleagues.
In 2016 doctors discovered a tumour in Jake’s brain. The operation to remove the tumour left Jake paralysed down one side of his body. In an act of extreme generosity, Wipe Away Those Tears funded a personalised electric wheelchair to drastically improve Jake’s quality of life.
Jake tragically passed away in 2017 aged just 16.
We know we can’t bring Jake back, but we can honour him and support Wipe Away Those Tears in their amazing quest to continue to support seriously ill children in Essex.
We want to pay it forward for Jake and we really hope you can help us to raise a very ambitious £10,000 for this amazing charity.
