Story
I will be taking part in the Lake District Triple Challenge UK organised by Barclays.
The challenge is over one day and involves the following:
- Climbing to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston – 10km, 803m approx.
- Mountain biking through Grizedale Forest, one of the Lake District's most famous mountain biking areas, including the lung-pumping ascent of the hill into the forest – 12km
- Kayaking around Coniston Water – 1.5km – approx.
I'll be raising money for the chosen charity Centrepoint. This charity provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment.
