Welcome, to my 26.2 miles Marathon April 2019 fundraising page. I am raising money for CLIC SARGENT,  a cancer charity for children, young people and their families.

I have decided to do this in memory of my uncle Shailesh Patel who sadly passed away from Oesophagus Cancer in 2010 within 6 months of diagnosis. Next year in 2019, he would have been 54 years old. My target is to raise £5,400 in memory of him. 

Shailesh was extremely selfless and generous in nature, going out of his way to help those in need and to put other people's interests at heart. He dedicated a lot of his time to Sansaar, a charity that focused teaching language to young children through music and fun. He would be proud knowing the donations made would be having a significant impact for CLIC SARGENT and the families they support. 

I am determined to complete this challenge for Shailesh so lets work together to do this for him!
