Story
Thank you for visiting my page. I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, the only cancer charity in the UK focused on all types of sarcoma. Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat. We can help change this. By donating to my page, you will fund vital research projects looking for better treatments. Your donation will also raise awareness of the symptoms of sarcoma to help patients get an early diagnosis, and ensure everyone has access to specialist advice.
On a more personal level, in 2014 my very awesome friend Saya passed away from sarcoma. Saya was one of the best human beings I have ever had the privilege of knowing and calling a friend and I don't say this lightly. She was laugh-till-you-cry hilarious, stupidly witty and incredibly positive, right till the end. She loved everything (mostly food and her dog Raffy) and it will never be okay that she is not here today. I have never run a full marathon before so I am incredibly nervous about it. However, if you could support me in doing this, our overall contribution may go towards stopping one more person being robbed of their life and for this I am more than willing to sacrifice my mornings/evenings/weekends/desserts/toenails!
Thank you for your support.
