Story
Our Ambulance Staff, Co-Respoders and Volunteers really go the extra mile to keep us all safe during challenging times and especially most recently during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Please help support Princetown Fire Station (Stn 56) to go the extra mile by supporting them in taking on the 'Outrun an Ambulance' challenge.
Our Local Ambulance Station is Tavistock which on average covers around 68 miles in one 12 hour shift. We as a team are running these 68 miles in 1 day dressed in full firefighting kit (Monday 2nd May 2022)
Princetown Community Fire Station is also a Co-Responding Station so we all know from first hand experience how important raising money for this fantastic Charity would mean and the differnece we can make to members of our local community.
The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) provides emergency and urgent care across 10,000 square miles, serving over 5.5 million residents and over 20 million visitors each year. SWASFT crews deal with around 2,500 incidents a day across the South West. Your donations will be used to provide enhanced facilities and wellbeing support for crew and personnel operating from Ambulance Stations in the South and West of Devon.
Thank you for your support : )
