She and her husband were expecting their 2nd child when her father passed away from liver cancer. Soon after, Maria lost her job. That was only the beginning. The real anxiety came when her husband tested positive for COVID-19 in Maria's last trimester. Her husband responsibly self-isolated so he didnt get his family or coworkers sick.
