Story
The invasion of Ukraine is a crisis on many fronts. For the 100,000 Ukrainian children currently confined to orphanages, and those at risk of separation from their families, it's a catastrophe. Jewels for Ukraine is supporting Hope and Homes for Children's work to prioritise the most vulnerable children.
We have created this one-of-a-kind brooch in pink and yellow gold, with beautiful pear-shaped stones from Cruzeiro Mine - deep blue tourmaline and golden beryl. Designed as a wheat motif, one of Ukraine's beloved symbols, it's a tribute to the country.
100% of funds raised will be donated to the work of Hope and Homes for Children, a small organisation with a mission to end the institutionalisation of children globally that is uniquely placed in Ukraine, Moldova and Romania to protect children and families right now, and in the aftermath of this war.

The invasion of Ukraine is a crisis on many fronts. Our primary concern right now is for the safety of the country's children, most
immediately, for the 100,000 children confined in 700 orphanages across the country, the unseen victims of this conflict, and the children at risk of being separated from their families.
In Ukraine, our usual work has been severely curtailed by the violence and security risks. But our teams continue to do what they can to
support vulnerable children and their families. Our team are providing
practical, life-saving support for children and vulnerable families.

In Moldova and Romania, we are working with partner agencies and local authorities to support the refugees crossing the border from Ukraine. We are also advocating at a global level for those children vulnerable to exploitation and trafficking to ensure they do not get lost or placed in dangerous orphanages. And as they urgently work to meet the immediate needs of the refugee crisis, they continue to provide support for families at risk of separation across the region.
