The NUH sky diving event is a great way to engage with other likeminded fundraisers and meet Nottingham Hospitals Charity's incredible community.I have chosen to support the Hayward house which is a unique palliative care unit. Here specialist care is provided for those with a range of life limiting illnesses for as long as they need it. Professional and dedicated staff help patients and their families not only with medical but also emotional needs. Funds raised can be used to provide additional nursing and facilities, peaceful gardens, quiet counselling rooms and space for loved ones to be together during these most difficult times in their lives and is therefore very close to my heart. Every penny raised will help to enhance patient care at our local hospitals in Nottingham and go above and beyond for our patients and families. I do hope that you are able to donate for this worthy cause.
