We are fighting to make a world where diabetes does no harm

Story

I've taken up this personal challenge because I, like many of you, have a personal connection with diabetes. I have close family and friends affected by the condition, and understanding my own risk of developing the disease has made me want to go out and do something about it (quite literally!).

Donating to Diabetes UK means the charity will be able to fund more research into better treatment, prevention and cure for diabetes. Imagine what a life-changer that will be for those we know who are living with the condition!

Please give whatever you can - it's your support that will keep me going as I toil up the Nevis Range and when my legs are giving up, my weak knee is making it's presence felt, and my ears, nose, fingers and toes are frozen solid... I will keep going because I know you are cheering me on from all corners of the world!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please donate now. THANK YOU!
