Story

"Donating through JustGiving is simply straight forward,  quick and absolutely secure. They will send your donation directly to the charity".

I am an Ex-Airborne Gurkha veteran. I served nearly 21 years with 2 Royal Gurkha Rifles.

In 2014, I retired from the army on medical ground and my medical problem was related to the service. That followed medical operation in the same year, unfortunately the operation caused me spinal cord injury and I became paralysed from chest down (T4 complete) which changed my life for forever.

This is going to be my first attempt of London Marathon and I am focused to try my best on my daily manual wheelchair. I am grabbing this opportunity to motivate myself in order to maintain my mental and physical robustness even further and fend off my constant neuropathic burning pain; also to encourage and inspire others to tackle the adversity through resilience and perseverance.

I’m very lucky to represent and fundraising for Blesma, The Limbless Veterans’ charity truly close to my heart and mind because it helped me in so many ways during my initial difficult days (post inpatient rehabilitation at Stoke Mandeville hospital) to improve my life and move forward after the injury.

So this is my great chance to give something back to the
charity so that they can continue to support the needy limbless veterans. Your great support by all means will be hugely appreciated.

Many thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
