Story

I am delighted that to announce that Polypipe have chosen Help 4 Heroes as their charity partners for the three years.

The partnership will see Polypipe raise funds and offer training and support to those with injuries and illnesses sustained while serving in the British Armed Forces.

As well as supporting H4H in raising much needed funds, Polypipe will also be providing work experience, vocational experience and sponsorship through a British Plumbing Employers Council (BPEC) course to ex-servicemen and women interested in pursuing a career in plumbing and groundworks.

Meet the Team:

Gary Foord - Polypipe Regional Sales Manager

This will be Gary's 7th tour with supporting CAC through Polypipe. A Social cyclist, Gary is more at home with a pint in his hand than climbing mountains!

Tim Chambers - Oasis Bathrooms (Gillingham, Kent)

Tim has recently completed the gruelling Prudential Ride London 100 and has also participated in L'Eroica, Tuscany, Italy where all bikes ridden must be pre 1987.

Michael Porter - Plumbing & Showroom Manager (Otford Builders Merchant)

MIchael has always been a cycling enthusiast competing in both track and road event. He still continues to race in time trial events. Amongst his extensive collection of bikes, he owns a Lotus Type 108, raced by Chris Boardman to a Gold medal and world record at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.

Toby Edwards - Regional Sales Manager (Graham Plumbers Merchant)

Toby is a long serving member of the Graham's Management Team. We are delighted to have Toby joining Team Polypipe on this challenge. A very keen cyclist; Toby has recently completed La Marmotte, undertaking 174km and 5180m of climbing! This will feel like a walk in the park!
