In the United Kingdom, more than 1,000,000 people are living with dementia. Worldwide, at least 44 million people are living with dementia, making the disease a global health crisis that must be addressed.

A diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or another form of Dementia is life changing for the person with the disease, as well as their family and friends.

Many of us taking part have family members who have been affected by this cruel disease.
