Dad, Haydn and I are taking part in the 2014 Walk for Wards in aid of the Pembroke Unit.  Mum was diagnosed with AML (Leukaemia) here and from the very start she bonded with her consultant Dr Effie Grand and wanted her treatment here at Salisbury.  The staff at Pembroke Ward looked after Mum superbly during her chemotherapy treatments, her re-admittances and at the very end when we sadly lost her in May 2009.
