Posse was inspired by a student who said he never would have dropped out of college if he'd had his posse with him. The simple idea: send a team (a Posse) of diverse students to college, together, and set them up for success--complete with full tuition scholarships and comprehensive mentoring.

Nationwide, Posse has supported more than 10,000 students nationwide in winning $1.6 billion in full tuition scholarships from Posse's partner colleges.  From Chicago alone, that's 1,740 scholars who have been awarded $260 million in scholarships since 2000.

The return on investment:  a 90% graduation rate!
