Turning Tides is the largest provider of services for single homeless men and women in West Sussex and they believe everyone has the right to a home, regardless of the difficulties and issues they may face in their lives. Turning Tides know anyone’s life can unravel into homelessness, so they bring together compassionate individuals and organisations who work tirelessly to transform the lives of people in our local community and to change perceptions of homelessness.

Acclaimed Pet Portrait Artist, Hercule Van Wolfwinkle, is selling wonderful portraits of your fur babies for a donation to Turning Tides. 

Hercule has two styles of portrait, one super realistic full colour which is just like looking at a photograph or alternatively the more contemporary black and white portrait that will grace any home.

1. HOW MUCH ARE THE PORTRAITS?

The pictures are free. All I ask for is a donation to the charity Turning Tides Ending Local Homelessness who are my local homelessness charity.
The donation can be whatever you are comfortable with and please do not donate more than you can easily afford.
A suggested donation is £14 which is enough for Turning Tides to provide someone with breakfast and a hot shower. It would be great to think that each of my scribbles is providing someone with the basic need of a shower and a fully belly.

2. WHEN DO I MAKE MY DONATION?
You can donate whenever you like but please do not donate with the expectation of receiving a portrait. Unless you are happy to make a donation regardless of whether or not you get a picture, please do not donate until I have finished your portrait.

3. HOW DO I DONATE?

4. HOW DO I REQUEST A PORTRAIT?
Just send me a message on facebook with a picture. Easy as that!

5. HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PORTRAIT?
Short answer, I don’t know.
I can’t even be sure you will ever get a portrait and for that I am genuinely sorry. I am working all the spare time I have to get as many done as possible, but the requests are coming in at a rate I just can’t even begin to keep up with - it’s turned into a bit of a lottery I’m afraid.

6. DO YOU POST ORIGINALS?
I’m afraid not. The portraits just get posted to my social media pages. 

7. WHAT IS VAT?
Voles and Tarantulas. I’m afraid of voles and I can’t draw spiders legs.
Oh, it is also a UK tax which is applied to the sale of goods.

8. CAN YOU PLEASE DRAW MY THREE CATS, FOUR DOGS, TWO RABBITS, SIXTEEN GOLDFISH AND THE NEIGHBOUR’S HORSE?
I’m really sorry, but I’m trying to limit it to one picture/animal per person at the moment so that I can get to as many people as I possibly can. I’m sure you understand.
