Story

After what has been a difficult 2020 for everyone, Portishead Town Football Club Ladies First Team and Reserves Team are hoping to spread a bit of a festive cheer alongside many other teams at PTFC, as we take part in the Santas on the Run event to raise money for Children's Hospice South West, in memory of PTFC Sparks player Ben Pritchard.

As a club we've been lacing up our running shoes during lockdown (with some self-isolating players running laps of their gardens), and on Saturday 12th December we will be walking/jogging/running/pram-pushing 5km around the football club and grounds. We will be following full COVID guidelines and adapting this event whatever happens!

CHSW have reported that like many charities, COVID has all but dried up their sources of charitable income and their ability to raise money. Please give generously to our PTLFC Santas and help CHSW to continue to provide vital support to families at a time when they need it the most.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
