In Wales, the RNLI has been operating at full capacity since the start of lockdown our service has been rescuing people throughout the Coronavirus pandemic and our heroic crews commitment to saving lives has not stopped.

Story

Our crew at Porthcawl have been called out 19 times  (and counting) through the past few months, we haven't stopped saving lives and remain the busiest lifeboat station in Wales.

Even though our crews are out rescuing people from the water and assisting many more, our ability to raise funds has been severely limited.

We have started this page to recover some of the funds we would have generated from our rich portfolio of events such as RescueFest which, sadly, have all been cancelled this year. We are asking our amazing community and local businesses to donate what they can to help support this essential service in their town.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
