Story
Poppy Street is back!
Six years ago Maisie had a vision to transform our street from Bluebell Street to Poppy Street. Her aim was to bring awareness for those who have served or are serving in our Armed Forces. Being Military children and Grandchildren they have seen first hand why it is so important to remember.
For the last six years Maisie along with the help of her little brother Harry have planned and the creation of Poppy Street. The response was incredible, people from around the world were so touched by their act of kindness.
Maisie has had the great pleasure of being apart of Her Majesty the Queen's jubilee celebrations were she attended Buckingham Palace to interview an incredible veteran from the D Day landings. Joe touched maisies heart and inspired her to do even more. Maisie presented the Prime minister with his Poppy and has had the honour of meeting His Royal Highness King Charles III as the Prince of Wales. Each amazing opportunity has allowed her to share her very passionate message of remeberance.
Maisie asked us ( Mummy and Daddy) if she could do it again this year and of course we said yes. This year we need to stand together more than ever and with their determination Maisie and Harry we have managed to bring Poppy Street back.
Maisie and Harry have one aim and that is to bring people together to remember the sacrifices that have been made and continue to be made every day.
Thank you for supporting them to achieve their vision.
We have chosen to raise money for The British Legion because they are part of our history and we want to ensure they remain part of our future.
