Fundraising for Epilepsy Action
Hi folks!
I will be jumping into my running shoes on September 30 to do my first ever Ealing Half Marathon.
I'm supporting Epilepsy Action which is a FANTASTIC cause supporting the 600,000 people in the UK living with epilepsy.
My boyfriend has it. He was first diagnosed as a teenager after having a fit and falling in the bread bin on his very first day as a waiter...! He's one of the lucky ones who can manage it with drugs, he hasn't had a seizure since.
My uncle, who suffered brain damage at birth, also has it but far more severe. He has fits regularly and my nan is an absolute HERO, she's 80 something and 4ft tall and is still his full time carer and has to drag him up and make sure he takes his drugs on time.
One of my good friends also has it and he's having problems with his drugs at the moment which sucks.
So please, please donate as much as you can to this AMAZING cause to help all kinds of people affected by epilepsy in different ways.
Lotsa Love

Ps. Wish me luck, 22km is a heck of a long way!
