Story
Hello everyone,
Thank you for visiting our page. Many of you will know Elsie Whitfield, whether she is Nan, Great Nan, Aunty or an amazing lady that you know. Nan has had a massive impact in all our lives in one way or another.
You may or may not know that our Nan, was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer that has spread to the liver. Unfortunately Nan did not receive any treatment and was moved to the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull. In light of this diagnosis myself and Tom have decided to do a charity 10,000ft Sky dive in April 2022, to raise as much money as possible so that nan and others can receive the essential care that they need.
Solihull Hospice has been caring for local people since 1965. It's a warm and welcoming place where they give expert care to people with a terminal illness, and their loved ones, every day of the year. The hospice team includes doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, social workers and many more, and is supported by over 200 volunteers who play a vital role in the running of the hospice. Since visiting Nan it is amazing to see how hard all the staff members work to keep the patients as happy as they can despite their diagnosis.
We would appreciate it greatly if you were able to donate to this cause whether its big or small, every penny counts!
Rest in eternal peace Nanny.
Wish us luck!!
