Story
Living with a rare chronic condition, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), can turn your world upside down. When I was 12, I was sadly diagnosed with CRPS myself, and was in agonising pain for nearly 6 months and unable to walk. I think one of the hardest things about living with the condition was having to explain my condition to people who had never heard of it due to it being so rare, especially in children, and doubting the authenticity of my condition. Burning Nights CRPS Support is an independent UK charity dedicated to not only raising awareness for this debilitating & life-changing condition but to also support anyone who’s lives have been affected by it. Fortunately I have recovered completely from this, and have been able to continue my life as normal. Sadly though, this is far from reality for everybody. I have chosen to run 2.6km a day for 26 days along with my dad, Steve Cooper to raise money for this charity, as this is something that whilst I find hard to do, I never would have thought I could do when I was diagnosed. This is really close to my heart and I would be so grateful if you could donate even just a little to help raise awareness for this fantastic cause.
Thank you!
