We raise funds to fight breast cervical and ovarian cancer

Story

I am cycling 100km around London through the night to raise money for Women V Cancer. Having lost Dad in 2002 to bowel cancer I've tried to raise money every few years for cancer research by running various 10K races and the marathon. Earlier this year I was faced with the prospect of this illness affecting my family again with some suspect symptoms and abnormal blood test results. Thankfully for me subsequent tests have all come back clear but my very dear friend has not been so lucky. She is currently enduring chemotherapy and surgery to hopefully rid her of breast cancer. We have been cycling buddies for years and thought that the Night Ride would be a fantastic way to celebrate the end of her treatment and give her something positive to aim for. Our girls, who have been friends since nursery, are also joining us and we seem to have roped in a few other friends too so it should be quite a night to remember. If you could donate anything to this fantastic cause we would be very grateful and it will definitely make the long night very worth while. Thank you.

Update! On the 25th March I will also be attempting to cycle coast to coast in a single day (120 miles) as part of my fund raising challenge - it could also end up being in the dark too if I don't cycle fast enough!
