Pontypridd Cricket Club will be participating again in "Walking in the Valleys" for young cricketers fundraising event with 11 other cricket clubs. The purpose of this fundraising initiative is to improve the participation/experience and opportunity for young cricketers to play and get involved with cricket in the valleys.

The sponsored walks will be over 4 days.

Day 1 March the 30th - Sophia Gardens to Pontypridd Cricket Club.

Day 2 March the 31st - Hopkinstown Cricket Club to Upper Rhondda Cricket Club.

Day 3 April the 01st - Hopkinstown Cricket Club to Mountain Ash Cricket Club.

Day 4 April the 02nd - Abercynon Cricket Club to Merthyr Cricket Club.

Any donations go to the Presidents Fund which is used to support young cricketers through the provision of equipment, clothing, facilities and coaches. This enabling us to deliver a service and make it more accessible for young cricketers to play the sport.

The club is not for profit and does not have its Own bar or clubhouse, any donation enables us to grow the club and provide facilities and support to help improve cricket within the Welsh valleys again which has unfortunately come upon hard times in recent years.
