Advent is here again, which means another edition of the acclaimed(ish) Poetry Advent Calendar!

Every day from the 1st to Christmas Eve, I will be writing a brand new poem from scratch and uploading it onto the blog, poetryadventcalendar.wordpress.com. This will be
the fifth year I've done it, and as a result, by Christmas Day there'll be well over a hundred unique, exclusive poems for your perusal.

The poetry is free, but if you've enjoyed it, this year or
any other, please consider giving a fiver (or whatever you can afford) to Ronald McDonald House Charities, this year's Advent Calendar charity, who do utterly amazing work which I've witnessed firsthand this year. Here's a few words from them...

That's that then - I've set the usual target of £125 as it's five quid for every day of Advent, which seems doable? So let's do it. Settle in, pour yourself a drink, enjoy the poetry and keep the flag of empathy flying. It's Christmas time again.
