Story
Beardy Brummy (aka Jake Wyatt) and Phil 'The Follicle' Honour have agreed to grow their burgeoning beards for the duration of lockdown to raise money for the wonderful charity SeeAbility.
Whose lockdown hairy chin baby will prove the most luxuriant? Who will succumb to the lure of the shears? Only time will tell. Take your pick and back your man, Team Phil or Team Jake.
About SeeAbility
SeeAbility delivers ambitious support and preventative services for people with learning disabilities, autism and sight loss, and champions better eye care. The charity is passionate about making a difference and strives to be extraordinary in the way it works.
Their vision is to create inclusive communities in which those with sight loss, autism and learning disabilities participate as equal citizens. The senior management team leads by example and works to ensure the charity is seen as dependable and one that delivers on its commitments.
The chief executive officer sends a personalised welcome letter to every new member of the workforce to demonstrate SeeAbility’s approach from the outset. There is a platform for understanding any concerns within the workforce that means issues are immediately addressed and a staff forum representative group provides additional support.
SeeAbility has pioneered specialist support for more than 200 years and is one of the UK’s oldest disability charities.
