Parenting Mental Health began with a Facebook group in September 2016, by Suzanne Alderson after her daughter was suicidal at the age of 14. Once Suzanne's daughter was on the road to recovery, her mission was with a goal to connect and support parents.
Since then it has grown to support parents around the world across its digital channels and programs. Parenting Mental Health now empowers, educates, and supports tens of thousands of parents to successfully navigate each stage of their child's mental illness, and to become stronger and more resilient families.
Parenting Mental Health became a Charity in February 2020. The aim to fundraise and provide financial support for PMH to be able to deliver training, resources, interventions, counsellors and education to parents for FREE.
That is why we need your support!
Your donation will allow PMH to continue to provide services which bring hope and connection to parents and carers supporting their child throughout poor mental health.
