I’m sure you are all saddened by the images emerging from the devastation caused by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.

This earthquake has sadly killed over 20,000 people and this figure is expected to rise, with many thousands more injured and left homeless.

Sadly we have two colleagues in Birmingham and Basel whose families have been directly affected by this disaster and we are supporting them at this time.

We'd also encourage you to reach out to any of your colleagues that may be affected either directly or indirectly by this crisis and offer support where you can.

We would like to fundraise for British Red Cross - an international charity providing emergency first aid, disaster relief and evacuation services.

Right now rescuers from British Red Cross are on the ground  in Turkey and Syria, providing shelter and supporting  those who have lost their homes.

The effects of this disaster are still unfolding and any donations to our fundraiser will be greatly appreciated.
