Story
On 1st April Plowman Craven launched its Ukraine Border Challenge.
A number of employees have signed up to the challenge of cumulatively walking/running/cycling the length of the Ukraine Border (4,345 miles) throughout the month of April.
See our updates below for a glimpse of how they're making their way through the challenge. Please help them along the way by sponsoring their efforts. All monies raised will go to the British Red Cross/DEC Ukraine appeal.
As conflict continues in Ukraine, millions of people are in danger. The staff and Directors at Plowman Craven are eager to help out and are undertaking a series of activities and events to help raise vital funds towards the appeal.
We hope you're able to help us by sponsoring us in our activities, or through a general donation to our page. Your contribution will make a difference.

A message from The British Red Cross:
Following the events in Ukraine, we have launched an emergency appeal. Communities are bearing the brunt of eight long years of conflict. We are very concerned about the recent intensification of fighting in eastern Ukraine over the past few days. Please donate today if you can. Even before recent developments, this is a conflict that hits people daily on personal, psychological and emotional level, bringing death, injury, separation from loved ones as well as the huge mental toll of ongoing violence and insecurity. How will my donation help people in Ukraine? We are responding to needs of people by: Repairing vital infrastructure such as water stations supplying water to over 800,000 people. Supporting small businesses with cash grants or equipment and vocational training. Raising awareness of mines through training and educational sessions run with the URCS and providing mine warning signs to mark dangerous areas.
