Paul Levitt Foundation - London to Austria 2019, 13 July 2019
We fund life-saving research to help cancer patients everywhere.

Story

In the early hours on Monday September 13th, 2004, my friend Paul's life changed forever.  In an instant he went from what he thought was healthy and normal to cancer patient.  Paul had a grand mal seizure and within hours discovered he had brain tumour.  There were significant risks in the surgery and radiotherapy but thankfully he survived with all neurological function intact.  This year marks 15 years since that diagnosis and to show our gratitude and give something back, Paul and some of his close friends will be riding nearly 900 MILES IN 9 DAYS from The Royal Marsden (where his cancer journey began) to Austria, where Paul and his wife Birgitta spend much of their time today.  In addition to raising money for the Neuro-oncology Research Unit of the Royal Marsden (this site), we will also be separately raising funds for Kumplgut, a charity that helps children with serious illnesses (often cancer) in Wels, Austria (near Paul's home town) on behalf of the Paul Levitt Foundation.

Nine years ago we did Land's End to John O'Groats and raised £10,000 for the Royal Marsden.  This time our goal is £5000 for Royal Marsden and £5000 for Kumplgut.

ALL DONATIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED but please dig deep!
