Story
The lockdowns during 2020 have had a massive impact on everyone’s health and wellbeing, but even more so for children.
To support the NSPCC’s work during these unusual times, we are taking part in their Play Retro event and raising money to help them ensure no child is left to cope alone.
From 6pm on November 26th, we are hosting a 24hr retro gaming marathon. The criteria is games released before 2005 (so no Fortnite, Minecraft, Call of Duty etc.), however we’re going a little further back and will be sharing some favourites we grew up with (or older …). Expect the games to be slightly more pixelated than we’re used to now!
The NSPCC
The NSPCC is the leading children's charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. We help children who have been abused to rebuild their lives, protect those at risk, and find the best ways of preventing abuse from ever happening.Every child deserves the best possible chance to rebuild their life after abuse. That’s why we’re here. That's what drives all our work. And that’s why – as long as there’s abuse – we will fight for every childhood.
