Team Football Doctor have raised funds and awareness for charities and individuals since 2019. Members of our squad are forming their own 5aside teams to play in a 12 team tournament to raise funds for Grief Encounter who support bereaved children. There will be several players taking part who have experienced the loss of a loved one and two young men who have used/are using Grief Encounter to help them manage their grief still. As a Therapeutic Wellbeing Practitioner, my job is also to be to refer a child or young person to an organisation that can help where I can't and I have used Grief Encounter for this purpose on more than one occasion. An amazing and much needed charity. Let's help to keep them doing what they do.
