The Wolfpack Howlers are returning to the studio to support Wolves Foundation’s Feed Our Pack campaign for another gig this Friday night – this time via Wolves’ official Facebook page.

The band made up of lifelong Wolves fans recently live streamed a ‘Play for the Pack’ gig at Birmingham’s Millennium Point studios following the FA Cup tie with Southampton and raised over £1,300 for the Foundation’s Feed Our Pack initiative aimed at reducing food poverty across Wolverhampton.

Well now they’re back, and all set for another fantastic fundraiser this Friday evening in advance of Monday night’s Feed Our Pack fixture against Premier League champions Liverpool.

“We had some great support for the streaming of the set we did last month, even with the disappointment of following the team losing to Southampton,” says vocalist/guitarist Liam Price, whose wife Anna is the captain of Wolves Women and a Wolves Foundation ambassador.

“It was great fun, and even better now that the club are asking us to do it all again, this time on Wolves’ official Facebook page.

“The team have a big game ahead against Liverpool on Monday, at which the Foundation are focusing on promoting Feed Our Pack, and any donations received during our performance will be hugely appreciated.

“Hopefully this will be a good way to kick off the weekend with all the Wolves terrace anthems whilst at the same time raising money for such an important cause.”

The idea for the Wolfpack Howlers originated from band member Ed, after they were asked – in their guise as the Liam Price Band – to perform at the Wolves Fan Park on a matchday.

Instead of singing other cover versions they went for putting a professional musical slant on those well-known Wolves anthems, and from the very first clip posted on social media, their work has proved extremely popular.

Feed Our Pack is one of Wolves Foundation’s most ambitious projects to date in which they are both supporting local foodbanks and leading Holiday Hunger initiatives for schoolchildren during the holidays.

Both Wolves Foundation and the Wolfpack Howlers would like to thank Birmingham’s Millennium Point Studio for free use of the facility for Friday’s event.
