I work for Sumatran Orangutan Society, and like most other charities, we are facing an uncertain future as the Covid-19 pandemic affects our income streams.
I'm joining in with the Two Point Six Challenge to raise much-needed money for SOS so we can keep funding vital orangutan conservation projects in Sumatra.
On April 26th at 2.36pm, I will be planking for 2 minutes 36 seconds (2.6 minutes!) and am hoping 25 other people will join me via Zoom, making 26 people in total. If you want to join in, Tweet me @lmradford to let me know. You can plank however you want - on your forearms, on your hands, or any other way that's safe and comfortable for you. We'll kick things off at 2.30 with a quick warm up from Vicki Martin (@vlmfitness) before starting our planking challenge at 2.36.
If you can, please donate £2.36 to this page - if everyone taking part in the planking challenge can get 26 people to donate £2.36, we'll reach our target really quickly. Thank you.

Sumatran orangutans are critically endangered, with only around 14,600 left in the wild. Indonesia has the highest rate of forest destruction in the world.SOS protects orangutans, their forest and their future by:• supporting local people to improve their income at the same time as protecting the rainforest • rescuing orangutans and resolving conflicts between villages and orangutans • campaigning on issues threatening the survival of orangutans in the wild.• restoring damaged orangutan habitat through tree planting programmes
