We raise funds to save the UK's native red squirrel

Story

Our adorable, native red squirrels are fighting to survive. Since grey squirrels were introduced, they have lost out to disease and competition for food.

At Loch Lomond for 2013 the challenge is a team adventure race; we're doing Tough:12-15km on foot, 10km by canoe and 40-44km mountain bike. http://www.samworthbrothers-challenge.co.uk/teams-1st-june/plan-b-samworth-brothers

The Red Squirrel Survival Trust is reversing their fortunes and protecting reds in the areas they are still found (such as Loch Lomond where the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge is being held) and reintroducing them in areas where they once inhabited (such as Cornwall).

Please donate what you can - every pound given will help the survival of red squirrels for future generations. (And help towards the £2000 minimum we need to raise to compete)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
