Story
Pixie & Bruce are out and about again!! On September 30th 2018, raising awareness about the amazing work of Royal Trinity Hospice, raising funds and having some fun too. We were bowled over by the generosity of everyone last year who visited our page here, so we know we can do it!
Pixie & Bruce are walking 5 miles to raise funds for The Royal Trinity Hospice Magnolia Fund and then join in all the fun at the Trinity Family Fun Day in their fab gardens, eat some great gourmet sausages and have a bit of rough and tumble together on the lawns.
Pixie had spent some time at Trinity last year when Margaret was admitted to Trinity to enjoy the beautiful calm, peaceful surroundings and the gardens were full of flowers. Pixie was even allowed to sit on Margaret's bed and everyone gave Pixie a little pat on the head as they passed by. Pixie was rather surprised that all pets are welcomed to visit those who have been admitted to Trinity as they are part of the family. (Even huge, fluffy Cats like Daisy May, another visitor to Margaret who sat on the bed all afternoon, but that's another story for another day)! Bruce has visited Trinity several times too, so they thought teaming up again this year was a splendid idea, have a good walk, a good chase, and raise some much needed funds at the same time. They are happy with any donations to their fund, so instead of that extra Cappuccino & cake today, maybe you could donate a small amount to their fund instead. ((You can donate any amount you wish too, there are no minimums).
Why not come along and join us on the Fun Day ! It is for a great cause or if you want to visit the café and gardens anytime at Trinity, everyone is always welcome.
Thanks for thinking of us on 30th September and we hope the sun shines this year too!
