We offer practical, emotional & peer support to anyone impacted by a pituitary condition

Story

Third time for the legendary Pituitary Plodders' running team. We've even managed to expand the group this time around!

Back in 2013, one of our team suffered from having a pituitary gland adenoma. The tumour was thankfully benign but it was difficult to remove and he ended up having 4 brain surgeries due to the life threatening complications.

The Pituitary Foundation was a great support during this difficult time and it continues to be, as he continues to cope with a lifelong condition (called hypopituitarism) and daily medication to keep him alive and plodding!

The Pituitary Plodders first ran the London Landmarks Half Marathon in 2019 for the Pituitary Foundation and gave it another go last year raising over £3,000. It would be great if, with your help, we could match that target once again?!

£25 would pay for The Pituitary Foundation Nurse for 1 hour to provide vital medical information for patients when they need it most

Please give what you can and/or perhaps consider coming on the big day to cheer us along as we plod our way to the finishing line again?!

The charity may be a small one but its importance is massive.

Thank you.
