Story

I will be taking on 3 peaks, in 3 countries, in just 3 days, all to raise vital funds for Spinal Research. Your support will help Spinal Research fund the science which explores the devastating effects of paralysis and means to generate treatments to give hope to those living with a spinal cord injury.

I have been conducting scientific research for 15 years with the aim of understanding the effects of spinal injury and finding a treatment for this disorder. It is an incredible time with huge advances being made, and this critical science funded in large part through charities like Spinal Research.

My incredible and brave sister Anna received a spinal cord injury 3 years ago and now lives in chronic pain - I want to do all that I can to help get a treatment - whether that be in the lab or raising money to support the amazing work of Spinal Research.

The 3 peaks challenge is going to be a battle for me! ANYTHING you can donate will go to this fantastic charity and help the 100s of researchers across the world trying to find treatments for spinal cord injury.

A huge thank you,

Pip
