Migratefuls solidarity fund offers weekly grants to our chefs who are asylum seekers without the right to work or recourse to public funds, enabling them to pay for some of their basic needs such as transport and food.

Story

On the 8th of August, I will be taking part in my first race event: an olympic distance triathlon at the Live to Tri London Triathlon Event. In order to help me across the finish line, I will be swimming (1.5km), cycling (40km) and running (10km) in support of the wonderful charity Migrateful.

Migrateful runs cookery classes led by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants struggling to integrate and access employment. The cookery classes provide ideal conditions not just for learning English and building confidence, but also for promoting contact and cultural exchange with the wider community.

As a participant in many of the inspiring cooking classes led by these chefs, I would be very grateful to be sponsored in support of Migrateful's Solidarity Fund. The fund offers weekly grants to our chefs who are asylum seekers without the right to work or recourse to public funds, enabling them to pay for some of their basic needs such as transport and food.

Any donation is encouraged and welcomed, and thank you for your consideration and support!
